Lavender is becoming known as the sweet scent of sleep. This beautiful herb has so many incredible benefits, one being that it’s calming priorities promote a good night’s sleep.
Researchers have found that lavender increases slow-wave sleep, the very deep sleep in which the heartbeat slows and muscles relax. During this phase, the brain is also thought to organize memory. Multiple studies show that participants report a better sleep when breathing in pure lavender before bed.
Knowing this, I decided to put together a linen spray that I could use to spray the boys’ pillows before bed. We travel often, so this is going to be coming with us on the road, when we stay in hotels, visit the grandparents or even just in the car to spray on their car seat if we are out late and they will be falling asleep for the night in the car. It’s also a very beautiful spray to have for when guests arrive. It freshens up your guest linens or curtains and it’s a very gentle scent, perfect for almost any guest.
I use Young Living Lavender oil. It is a pure essential oil, sourced from farms using sustainable farming practices. Need oils? Buy them here!
